who I am

why you should hire me

Astar is a bright young woman with zero tenacity and much artistic promise. She grew up in a small suburban house in the northwest along with 4 equally bright siblings all longing for the whimsical taste of freedom and sweet call of purpose. Today, her family is half of the inspiration for her artistic madness: the other half being her Christian faith and her fight to keep it. Although distressingly average on the surface, she exhibits an extraordinary ability to see things the way they are rather than how people wish them to be.

Adaptability is the greatest asset a graphic designer can have. I define adaptability as the capacity not to change ideas into reality in a creative and aesthetic way, but to change “someone else’s” idea into reality in this manner. We can be held captive by our comfort zone and limited understanding. Or worse, designers can get so wrapped up in their own image that they forget about the commissioner. Of all the things I lack, adaptation is not on the list. What I feel uncomfortable with, I can manage, and what I do not know, I can learn. This, above all other things, is what makes me a good designer.
