About Waterville
Who We Are
Waterville is a Southern Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tennessee. Our church was established in 1950, and since then we have grown into a tight-knit community. Waterville is much more than a group of people - we are a family of believers that seeks to glorify the Almighty God. We do this through worship, service, discipleship, and fellowship. Our goal is to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors feels welcome and experiences the love of God.
In a world full of confusion and loneliness, there is a church family with open arms at Waterville.
What We Believe
- Jesus Christ was crucified, died, and rose again. He ascended to Heaven and will come back to establish His Father’s Kingdom.
- The Holy Trinity: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
- When one is saved, they can never lose their salvation.
- The Lord calls us, His church, to serve others.
Our Pastor
Pastor Rodney Bice leads our congregation with passion, humility, and care.
As a preacher, he uses an expository style to convey the meaning of the Word. As a pastor, Pastor Rodney is both a servant and a leader to our church.
He is always ready to share a meal, say a prayer, or comfort those who are suffering.
Our pastor makes an effort to greet everyone who walks through doors. If you are planning to visit us, introduce yourself to him.
